The construction of Acousticore panels is dependent on the panel's intended function. Acoustical panels and baffles are manufactured using semi-rigid fiberglass cores of various Thicknesses. A lamination of high Density fiberglass may be added to the panels or baffles where impact resistance is required. Tackable panels are constructed using high Density mineral fiberboard which provides an excellent tackable surface as well as providing sound absorption. An extruded aluminum frame may be applied to both acoustical and tackable panels.
